The Centres give students the opportunity to live and learn together for short periods of time in a new and interesting environment. The Centres are available for young people from the age of 9 and priority is given to Wigan Council schools
At both Low Bank Ground and Hinning House we offer courses were the emphasis is on an adventurous approach to the exploration of 'natural' environments such as mountain, forest, lake and river. We have a wide range of resources available and the necessary experience to be able adapt our standard course to accommodate requests from school or college groups. We will work with visiting staff to provide the range of activities you need, whether this is to focus on a relevant curriculum area, team building or environmental issue.
