This is an environmental programme which offers children the opportunity to achieve a national award during their visit to either Low Bank Ground or Hinning House. Many of the activities of the ‘Explorers’ course are included in this programme but there is more emphasis on environmental awareness and understanding. Groups often take part in a conservation task as part of the programme. A record book is provided free of charge for pupils to reflect on their experience. Your final information pack will include teachers’ notes on how to prepare for and follow up the visit.
