Special Needs Courses

Both Centres have a long tradition of working with Special Needs groups and many groups return for activity weeks each year. Low Bank Ground and Yew Tree Lodge are accessible for wheelchair users with ramps and appropriate toilets and shower rooms. Other special needs groups may prefer the cosy atmosphere of Hinning House.
Either 'Explorers' or 'Challenge' programmes are available depending on age-range, and these can be modified in consultation with the Centres to suit the abilities and objectives of the group. Special needs groups are usually resident alongside other groups, with whom integration is encouraged.
